Alarm Clock

School Project | 2 Weeks | 2021

An engineering prototype of a smart alarm clock

It's a project made in an engineering course at UPenn. The prompt of the project was to devise, design, and fabricate a battery-powered embedded system based on an Arduino Uno that responds to environmental inputs and produces output such as motion, light, and sound.

Alarm Clock is an alarm light that could wake up the user effectively through sunrise lighting and energized alarm. The product embedded a PIR sensor to detect the user's movement and automatically turn the alarm off after the sensor detects that the user gets up from the bed.
